Bagging two golds consecutively in 100m and 200m has made Usain a force to reckon with when compared to Phelps. Phelps who is a celebrity already in the Olympic arena has a partner in the party.
Both are immensely talented and are great to look at !. People just wait to see them pound their opponents even if it means deameaning to some very good athletes from other countries.
They both lived in two different worlds. Phelps in the US, Baltimore. As a child he was diagnosed with ADHD and lived a life of a distraught teenager when his parents went through divorce.
For Usain, the role his mother played in his victory was undebatable and his love for his family and country is always thrusted boldly from this 21 year old 6-5 tall guy.
When looking at these things, the mind doesn't know what reason causes these prodigies to achieve the grandeur.
All that remains is the spectacular feats. The remarked passed by the Olympic Chief about Usain being arrogant etc sounded not just childish but also blatantly ignorant abt the feat the runner had performed. Such remarks will vanish in future. All that will stay behind is Usain, cheast beating gesture.
